Welcome to the Dark Sky bike shack, it’s not a spa, definitely not a motel, and we don’t leave the lights on but it is filled with bang bang!
Need a place to sleep for the night because you are passing through town while riding a through-route? You might even start or end your bike packing adventure at the bike shack if you are riding one of the Dark Sky signature routes that begin and end in Hailey/Ketchum. Our staff can help you gear up or gear down and provide smiles, routing, knowledge, additional gear, and insights. The shack experince awaits!
The shack can accommodate 2-4 riders and is located just two blocks off the paved WRT bike path in old Hailey, Idaho (The Hood), on the owners property, and central to any service you desire. The shack is a pedal stroke or short walk to central Hailey for any services you may be looking for including bike shops, coffee shops, restaurants, bakery, groceries, and popular bike minded watering holes.
NOTE: The bike shack is free to those that are bike packing. Bike shack donations for snacks, drinks, spit and shine and clean shack goodness are always appreciated.
